Event Schedule for 2012-2013

The following is the Los Angeles Corral of Westerners event schedule slated for the balance of 2012 and the beginning of 2013.

Please note that many changes are possible and we encourage you to contact us if you have any questions, or would like to attend a meeting but are not yet a member.

October 6, 2012, Saturday: the Big, Annual Westerners party, fundraiser, and auction called the Rendezvous held this year at the historic and beautiful, Gilmore Adobe, located next to the Farmers Market in Los Angeles.

November 14, 2012 Wednesday night monthly meeting: Death Valley and the Death Valley Chuck-Walla, presented by historian and author Phil Brigandi.

December 12, 2012 Wednesday night monthly meeting: Western biographical study/compare of actor/outlaw/writer/lawman, William S Hart/Al Jennings/O Henry/Bud Ledbetter, presented by historian and professor, Abe Hoffmann.

January 9, 2013 Wednesday night monthly meeting: History of the Southern California community San Marino, dually presented by authors Elizabeth Pomeroy and Nick Curry, who will also present their newly published book on the subject.

February 13, 2013 Wednesday night monthly meeting: The Civil War in Southern California presented by historian and author, Michelle Zack as part of the upcoming Civil War Sesquicentennial.
